SUMMARY

This position is responsible for safely assembling equipment by following detailed instructions from supervisors and trainers. These assemblies vary in size and require the use of a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies Assemble parts, wires, hoses, and hydraulics onto trucks utilizing power equipment and wrenching techniques Drill holes for wires, hoses and small parts Operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements Complete small weldments Install various truck accessories (decals, mud flaps, cameras, lights) Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 65 lbs Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands Follow verbal and written work instructions Attention to detail necessary to adhere to quality standards Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations Regular attendance required All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Follows all safety and compliance regulations

  • Willing to work over 40 hours per week

  • Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in an assembly or mechanical occupation

  • Enjoys working in a team environment

  • Basic math skills

  • Experience using hand tools

JOB SUMMARY: The Materials Handler is responsible for supporting internal and external customers through accurate receiving, stocking, delivery, and shipment of materials. In addition, the Materials Handler responsible for operating all material support equipment and performing all material support functions (i.e. receiving, running lines, and shipping) in assigned Operations facility. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned. * Efficiently locate & pull materials/supplies as listed on production/sales order and stock assigned production areas to maintain inventory levels for production; ability to accurately verify parts & quantities and complete BOLs to receive and/or ship material. * Licensed and can operate all material handling equipment (i.e. Stand-up, Sit-down, Combi, Lancer, Tugger) at assigned Operations facility. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with safety procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards; use best practices to follow all safe procedures in operation of various material support equipment in assigned Operations facility. * Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and proper 6S standards; follow all safe procedures and practices in assembling and testing of all models in your job function.
