Job Purpose and Impact

The First Line Production Supervisor will lead all production and operating processes by being responsible for the operations agenda and leading an engaged team that will execute business deliverables. In this role, you will ensure safety, quality, cost, delivery and morale objectives are met.

Key Accountabilities

  • Execute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.

  • Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are within specifications.

  • Partner with production supervisors to meet customer specifications and timeline.

  • Adhere to production budget for a department , process, or shift and executes purchase orders and ensures timely payment of invoices

  • Develop operational plans and monitors routine operations for all production processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.

  • Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.

  • Responsible for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.

  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Minimum one year of directly related work experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of supervisory experience

  • Lean Six Sigma experience and/or certification

  • SAP experience

  • Microsoft Office 365 experience

  • Experience working with heights (20ft - 150ft)

This role requires someone energetic and able to work on their feet in a hot, fast-paced warehouse setting where you will be standing for 8-16 hours performing routine tasks such as lifting, carrying and placing objects up to 50 lbs. Job Responsibilities * Operates and supervises continuous production line * Rotates among duties including the filler machine, wrapper machine, packing boxes, stacking boxes, etc. * Visually inspects product for quality and quantity * Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner * Understands and follows all safety procedures that apply to daily operations * Maintains a safe and clean environment by following all safety policies and procedures * Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc. * Adheres to Aramark and OSHA safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation * Ensures security of company and client assets This job profile does not contain a comprehensive listing of all required activities, duties, or responsibilities. Qualifications * Previous experience in a bakery production or related role preferred * Validated knowledge of bakery production methods and standards * Validated Knowledge of food safety regulations such as proper food handling, sanitation, and storage * Must be able to obtain a food safety certification * Demonstrates basic math and counting skills * Requires repetitive motion with hands and arms * Requires ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift. This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
