Boeing Global Services is seeking a first line leader within their Support Equipment organization for the Non-Destructive Test Automated Systems team in St. Louis, Mo. This team of multi-disciplined engineers and technical professionals is responsible for ensuring the successful design, development, manufacture and support of Non-Destructive Automated Ultrasonic Scanning Systems (AUSS) products for various worldwide internal and external aerospace programs. The team collaborates with multiple functions, suppliers, Boeing sites, and external customers to provide world class solutions for Non-Destructive Inspection Systems.
The field of Support Equipment requires hands-on and diverse problem-solving skills. This discipline will provide an environment of wide-ranging technical challenges, and exposure to complex processes that reach across functions and business units.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage the cost, schedule, and technical requirements for $40M of inspection system products and services; report performance to plan to senior leadership and executives
Lead customer engagement for approximately 25 internal and external organizations with regular contact with around 75 customer contacts.
Report on program campaigns and investment status to senior leadership
Manage proposal efforts for approximately 15 new business opportunities per year
Oversee IRAD, IAD, Capital, and Repair & Maintenance investment capture and execution
Lead the team by setting expectations, clarifying strategy, and communicating frequently
Manage all staffing actions, including providing task assignments, conducting performance reviews, and ensuring compliance to policies and procedures
Develop team members and continuously improve various technical and business processes
Oversee business strategy and technology roadmaps for Non-Destructive Inspection products
SECURITY CLEARANCE:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Summary pay range: $137,700 - $186,300
