A career in Sales and Marketing, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to focus on positioning a distinctive PwC brand in the marketplace and drive long term revenue growth for the Firm. You'll focus on designing, developing, and implementing communication programmes and media events to promote and sell the PwC's brand and services as well as contribute to and evaluating our pricing strategies in the marketplace. Our Marketing and Public Relations team is responsible for PwC's external media relations and social media strategy. As part of our team, you'll help with social media account management, media relationship management, and identifying new and emerging opportunities for the Firm.

Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts in understanding of media strategy at a national and global level, preferably with a professional services firm, a financial services entity or working at a public relations agency, and proven success in roles managing others to accomplish key objectives, including the following areas:
Developing media and campaign strategies with a focus on corporate responsibility, diversity, and sustainability and oversight of their execution;
Emphasizing the management of multiple external communications initiatives at the same time and strategies focused on business objectives, including launching reports to the media, working with spokespeople on media interviews, leveraging industry events, and responding to unsolicited media requests;
Showcasing familiarity with new media platforms including social media outlets such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and social media platforms and databases, such as Gorkana, Meltwater;
Showcasing familiarity with tracking software, such as Google News, Dow Jones News Retrieval/Factiva, other interactive platforms, including YouTube, Google Plus, and others;
Highlighting knowledge of digital communications techniques, communications trends and industry-leading practices, with a focus on integrated communications strategy;
Understanding professional services industry and it's business, realized through the successful protection and promotion PwC's external brand via professional judgment and decision-making;
Leading strategies related to corporate responsibility, diversity and sustainability, including advising leadership on how to respond to adverse public scrutiny or the potential for the same, while collaborating with the media directly in these situations;
Helping reporters and editors understand facts, context, and its client's narrative and messages;
Understanding and accepting PR as a powerful and crucial business tool;
Maintaining solid media contacts at the local and national levels within the diversity/corporate responsibility space, as well as proactively identifying additional reporter contacts valuable to the Firm and developing them across traditional media, such as top-tier print and broadcast, service, industry and/or geographic trade publications, and new media platforms and social media outlets, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook;
Building and maintaining relationships with highest levels of leadership, with emphasis on managing through a high-matrix organization and service providers;
Being regarded as an industry-leading communicator, writer, and strategist, including utilizing writing skills to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand, compelling messaging;
Leading, managing, coaching and developing external communications managers primarily tasked with the day-to-day execution of the strategies; and,
Managing on-going external communications strategy and driving change by collaborating with other Marketing and Sales professionals.
