Firmware Engineer

Description:

The Radar Firmware Lead will be responsible for architecting full radar systems from the ground up with regards to scoping out the system, designing the software as well as working with Hardware and RF Engineers to integrate. That person also needs to have relevant, first-hand knowledge of the types of systems we are building, radars. They will need to help shape and refine interfaces between subsystems in the new Radar, as well as work with the digital signal processing aspects of the system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or Computer Science

• 10+ years of professional experience within Embedded Software Development with C/C++

• Strong background in Radar Systems Design and Development

• Familiarity with FPGA Hardware, including Xilinx tool chains

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US secret level security clearance.
