Fireproofing Estimator

Kaloutas is a seeking a self-starter to join our team as a Fireproofing Estimator! As a member of the team you will play a pivotal role in our mission to provide top-quality fireproofing solutions for commercial projects in the New England Area. Your expertise in estimating, and fireproofing will be crucial in ensuring the success and timely completion of our projects.

Some of your job responsibilities will include:

• Estimation: Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for fireproofing projects, considering labor, materials, equipment, and other project-specific factors to provide competitive bids.

• Resource Management: Efficiently allocate resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency and profitability. Monitor and manage project costs, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.

We are always willing to train the right person, but in general we hope you have:

• Previous experience in estimating and project management, specifically in the field of commercial fireproofing

• Strong knowledge of commercial fireproofing techniques, materials, and industry best practices

• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations related to fireproofing is a plus

• Proven ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and manage projects within established budgets

• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
