The Fire/EMS Technical Assistant will be responsible for providing district-wide support to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and Fire programs while following prescribed procedures.
This position reports to the Fire/EMS Program Director.

Essential Functions:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to assigned programs.
Coordinate course offering schedules and issue instructor assignments.
Gather, record and maintain student records, required documentation, completed certifications, etc.
Prepare and gather data for accreditation requirements and required reporting.
Coordinate and actively participate in recruitment and outreach events and activities.
Coordinate and maintain instructor certification renewals schedule.
Additional Responsibilities:
Regularly review and optimize processes to eliminate redundancy and enhance overall efficiency.
Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
2 years (4,000 hours) of experience in an Emergency Service occupation
1 year (2,000 hours) of customer service experience
Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Workspace
DIVISION/LOCATION: School of Protective and Human Services/ Burlington
COMP GRADE: 25
FLSA DESIGNATION: Non-exempt
START DATE: ASAP
