Responsibilities Install pipe systems and valves Cut, thread, assemble and bond pipes and tubes according to specifications Modify, clean and maintain pipe systems, units and fittings Remove and replace worn components Follow blueprints to meet product specifications Calculate material measurements to verify specifications Train Fitters and Helpers on proper installation techniques Job Requirements State fire sprinkler license A current driver's license Mechanical ability and basic hand tool knowledge Ability to lift 75 lbs., safely use of ladders, work overhead and work in tight spaces Work efficiently with minimal supervision Organized with excellent written and verbal communication skills High school degree or equivalent Current Fire Sprinkler Licensee Benefits Summit Fire & Security offers extensive training opportunities, career advancement, competitive pay, bonus opportunities, along with an industry leading and affordable benefits package for eligible employees.
