The Fire Safety Supervisor will be responsible for the following activities in the hospital.
Perform ILSM assessment and document preparation
Perform necessary audits to ensure full compliance with joint commission standards and all governing agencies
Review all renovation projects to ensure compliance
Assist with management and implementation of fire drill program
Assist with management and implementation of in-service training program
Assist with implementation of management of Building Fire Safety Plans
Carry out lab inspections
Participate in EOC rounds and required follow-up for corrective work
Assist with management of fire stopping program
Participate in Mt. Sinai Emergency Management meeting, hospital safety meeting and Executive Lab Safety Meetings.
Assist with establishment and maintaining of applicable vendor maintenance agreements
Participate in event walk-thru's to ensure life safety compliance
Review and update Mt Sinai Fire & Life Safety policies
