Fire Alarm Technician

Job Description Job Description Service Specialist (Fire) Exciting opportunity to join a growing company with the world's largest privately owned security integrator. In this role you would be on the servicing team supporting the fire side of the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES: In this role, you will be responsible for servicing and programming fire alarm systems As a Fire Alarm Service Technician, you are a part of a dynamic team that allows you to grow as Convergint grows Assist in the testing, programming and commissioning of fire alarm and life safety systems Assist in the servicing of fire alarm and life safety systems Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software/systems, programing of Fire Alarm Systems, schematics and operational/product manuals Present a professional image of Convergint Technologies at all times in appearance and behavior This is a 6 month contract-to-hire position. REQUIRED SKILLS: 2 years of installation & programming experience with Fire equipment Servicing (troubleshooting) experience EST (Edwards) experience / Nicet 2 Certification Strong customer service skills Experience with MS office application Valid driver's license PREFERRED SKILLS: (FAL) Fire Alarm License lenel, genetec experience/certifications Must be authorized to work in the US.
