Our customer-focused teams are built on our core values: Community, Integrity, Agile, and Committed. Requirements: SUMMARY: The primary role of a Service Technician is to assist the Service Manager with the inspecting testing and maintenance of low voltage systems within a facility.

Low voltage systems include fire alarm, video surveillance, door access, AV, audio, paging, intercom, nurse call and network. In this supportive role, technicians are provided the opportunity to gain field experience in the systems integration industry and grow within the company. This individual will bridge the gap between people and technology.

PRIMARY DUTIES: Service, Inspecting, testing, and maintaining of low voltage systems Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry/components and records effects on unit performance Demonstrates attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and dependability by following instructions and being an active listener Adapts well to changing circumstances or conditions in the field Pursues career development opportunities such as training and certification courses Always maintains a professional attitude and appearance Keeps a clean and organized work environment Adheres to all NEW ERA policies in regard to dress code, safety, attendance, etc. Other duties may occur at your managers discretion Some Engineering for Nurse Call COMPETENCY:

Prior Fire Alarm service experience Preferred CCTV, Access Control/ security experience Obtain Fire Alarm NICET certification Valid driver's license Reliable transportation Familiarity with basic hand tools Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Ability to stoop, balance, stand, walk, sit and climb and/or work on a ladder REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Associates degree (or minimum 2 years of experience) in Fire Alarm Testing and Inspections QUALIFICATIONS: To perform the job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
