Job Description:We are seeking a Finishing Site Superintendent who will be pivotal in overseeing the final phases of construction for our high-rise projects. The successful candidate will manage all finishing operations to ensure that buildings are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the finishing aspects of high-rise construction projects from drywall to final inspections and occupancy.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution according to project timelines.
- Supervise on-site finishing staff and trades, providing leadership and resolving any emerging issues on-the-fly.
- Ensure compliance with all building codes, safety regulations, and site-specific safety programs.
- Manage the inspection process to guarantee that all aspects of the building meet both legal standards and client expectations.
- Facilitate communication across various teams and stakeholders to maintain project alignment with architectural and design specifications.
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide comprehensive reports on project progress and challenges.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Site Superintendent, specifically in high-rise residential construction, with a strong focus on finishing stages.
- Extensive knowledge of the construction industry, including building codes, safety regulations, and finishing techniques.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications in construction management, engineering, or related fields are preferable.
