Our client is considered a global leader in labeling and packaging materials and solutions. They are currently seeking qualified people to fill a Finisher role. This position is responsible for functions within the finishing center that support machine operations.

A Shift: 7:20am

  • 3:30pm
    B Shift: 3:20pm

  • 11:30pm
    C Shift: 11:20pm

  • 7:30am

There are current openings on B and C Shifts


May be assigned to duties that include packaging slit rolls to customer specifications, operating the manual packaging line, cutting cores, banding, etc.
Sorting, labeling and packaging finished goods for shipment, per customer specifications, quality requirements and standard practices.
Inspecting general appearance of finished product.
Keeping area supplied with necessary packaging materials
Preparing cores for machine operators
Communicating and coordinating necessary information to appropriate shift/department personnel to ensure effective operations.
Tracking multiple orders being packed at one time
Performing duties to continuously improve quality and productivity
Maintaining a clean, safe work area
Performing 5S duties and audits
Assisting in equipment maintenance activities, as directed
Participating ingroup problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities


Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must be able to pass a drug screen.
You must be willing and able to work overtime
Proficiency with computer applications
You must be able to obtain a Lift Truck Operator's license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

VIEW JOBS 1/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-15T00:00 As a Coating Line Operator you will be assigned to work on a coating line and may work in one or more work stations including the face unwind, liner unwind, die, main console/winder, and quality lab. You may be proficient on more than one coating asset in a given location. You will be responsible for leading machine set ups and changeovers, problem-solving, coordinating PM's, making decisions on machine adjustments. You will work on B shift. In this important role you will also be responsible for: * Load raw material into machine and unload finished product. * Determine and control the machine cycle varying and modifying as necessary. * Perform tests and check product routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring devices and making some judgments against not readily measurable standards. * Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity. * Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. * Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance. * Follow all health, safety, and housekeeping procedures, policies and practices and consistently work in a safe manner with regard to self, co-workers, and manufacturing systems. * Support safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. * Teamwork: Assist and support other team members in meeting department and site goals. Participate and share in performing all tasks necessary to run the facility. Contribute and participate in team decision making. Provide support in project work and other special requests. * Perform all other functions as necessary.
