THE JOB:

As a Fine Dining Cook at Joel Robuchon, you will be responsible for skillfully applying French culinary techniques. Your expertise in French cuisine, along with your welcoming smile and exceptional service, will set the stage for a memorable guest experience. By understanding each guest's unique story and needs, you will take ownership of their experience, creating WOW memories that will stay with them long after their visit.

STARTING RATE: $27.65 an hour

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of food products and French culinary techniques, with proficiency in cold prep, hot appetizers, fish, and meat stations.

  • Demonstrate solid understanding and preparation skills for base sauces, stocks, and soups essential to French cuisine, while paying close attention to detail in plate presentation to enhance guest satisfaction.

  • Identify and safely operate a variety of kitchen equipment suited for high-volume service environments.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization, restock supplies efficiently, and properly label and date products for sanitation and compliance.

  • Follow directions from chefs accurately, collaborate with kitchen leadership and staff to execute high-quality service consistently, and work cohesively as a team to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests.

  • Preform other job-duties as requested.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays.

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Possess at least two (2) years of experience as a cook.

  • Demonstrate previous experience in a fine dining or upscale establishment.

  • Possess proficient knife skills, ensuring precision and efficiency in food preparation.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in all kitchen tasks.

  • Follow directions from chefs accurately and efficiently to uphold quality standards.

  • Demonstrate a growth-driven attitude and eagerness to learn new techniques and methods.
