Fine Arts Teacher - OMA Arts Integration Specialist - Music (Effective 2024-2025 School Year)

SUMMARYCollaborate with Classroom Teacher regarding student progress and coordinating Arts Integration services.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Valid Arizona Teaching Certification in elementary or secondary education with an endorsement in Music
OR
An AZ Standard Professional Arts Education Certification in Music

Arizona IVP fingerprint clearance card.

Experience with one or more of the arts disciplines (music)

Experience with integration of the art form(s) with tested curricular subjects.

Knowledge of the Arizona State Standards for the Arts

Knowledge of the National Arts Standards, current brain-based learning research, and multiple/alternative assessment methods.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
ESL Endorsement or Bilingual Spanish Endorsement

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS AFTER HIRE
Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization

Effective: 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR

FTE : 1.0 - 7.5 hours per day
Work Calendar: 9.5 month
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.

Probationary Contracts will be issued for any contingent Certifications, Positions that are 0.6 FTE or less, and certified employees within their first three years with the District.
