The team focuses on several key risk types, including conduct, credit, financial crimes, information security, interest rate, liquidity, market, model, operational, regulatory compliance, reputation, strategic, and technology risk.
The group provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, the group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

This Enterprise Risk Consultant 4 will play an important role in Wells Fargo's model risk management by contributing to oversight for the areas of Liquidity Risk, Capital Planning, Operational Risk Capital, Financial Planning and Financial Performance Management. This position will be a part of the Treasury & Corporate Finance Oversight (TCFO) team and will be a part of the Corporate Functional Model Oversight (CFMO) function for all TCFO oversight areas in concert with subject matter experts within the team. In particular, this position will focus on liquidity risk models.
Responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to, the following:
Provide CFMO coverage for quantitative and qualitative models across all oversight areas previously mentioned. This includes such responsibilities as review and challenge of model changes, model exceptions, risk ranking changes, performance monitoring plans and results.
In collaborations with the liquidity SMEs on the team: Assist in the effort to credibly challenge internal liquidity stress test assumptions at the enterprise level.
Assess rationales and approaches designed and implemented by the front line to comply with regulatory requirements in areas such as the LCR, RLAP, and RLEN to identify risks and opportunities.
Perform an independent assessment of inputs, assumptions, and judgment within models
Lead challenge meetings with the Front Line and present results of review and challenge to Senior Management, Committees, and Wells Fargo Audit as necessary.
Collaborate with Corporate Model Risk to ensure continued compliance with the Model Risk Policy as the independent risk management function for oversight areas previously mentioned.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with the Front-Line, other IRM, Wells Fargo Audit and Regulatory stakeholders.
Maintain an independent and informed opinion regarding the current model risks of the Company as well as regulatory guidance.

Previous experience with OCC 2011-2012
