Financial Systems Manager

Who you are:

The Financial Systems Manager will involve managing Union Square Hospitality Group's NetSuite system, maintaining the system's health, implementing new features and integrations, and providing training and support for users

What you'll do:

• Cultivate a culture of Enlightened Hospitality for all stakeholders that supports our business objectives and growth

• Management and maintenance of ERP system (Oracle NetSuite, along with integrations to UKG, purchasing/inventory management system, banking/payment management, facilities management) as well as financial reporting and forecasting system (NetSuite Planning & Budgeting)

• Support monthly financial close and forecasting processes as well as annual budgeting

• Provide support and training for users

• Administer existing and new user access/role permissions and maintain controls between roles

• Manage all change requests to chart of accounts, dimensions (subsidiary, location, item, department, etc.)

• Vendor management including creation of vendors, validation of banking information and changes to terms

• Support accounts receivable team with creation of invoices, including any updates

• Create custom reports/saved searches as needed

• Provide input on and oversight of internal processes with respect to NetSuite master data, hierarchies and reporting

• Work closely with accounting, finance and tech teams to understand and evaluate automation opportunities, including new software platforms that can integrate into NetSuite

• Coordinate with finance to understand reporting needs and automate report distributions where possible

• Validate and document configurations, enhancements, development and underlying processes

• Audit trails, deleted records, record changes, usage/scripting logs, REST/SOAP process for API connections

• Inactivate records or disable processes as needed to ensure reliable and secure performance of ERP

• Primary point of contact for USHG for all communications to/from Oracle

• Manage external relationship with NetSuite account manager and dedicated support contacts

• Create all support cases in NetSuite and manage with ACS or Premium Support

• Monitor and escalate system outages or performance issues

• Coordinate preparation of external audit materials for systems

• Develop or enhance validations of financial data

• Review technical system design documents and ensure adherence to stated requirements

• Stay up to date with new NetSuite features and best practices

What we need from you:

• 3-5 years work experience with ERP administration, configuration and 3rd party integrations in complex environments specifically with NetSuite

• Fully efficient in custom record types, fields, forms, roles and permissions, page layouts, searches and reports

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Experience providing training and support for users

• Project management, system implementation and system integration experience

• Experience with JavaScript, HTML and/or SQL preferred

• NetSuite Administrator certification preferred
