What You Will Do
As the Financial Systems Manager you will lead the DFS SAP Security processes with a focus on GRC, SAP SOX controls for the Enterprise. This will include but not limited to provide continuous SAP process controls, implementation, and transformation of Security reporting solutions, develop testing plans, issues resolution, and end user support. This role will lead and process SAP Security governance requests, including capturing organization financial system requirements, and validating all SAP finance job role changes. Lead small to medium projects in partnership within controllership teams on SAP SOX user access related controls. Testing scripts and records involved in both SAP and Workday releases.
The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of the SAP Security process. Preferably experience in implementing a GRC system. The candidate should have strong client service relationship skills, to be able to interact and partner with Technical, Business unit organizations, and External auditors. Excellent communication skills, work in a fast paced environment, and adaptable to business priority changes with ease.
Required Qualifications & Skills
5+ years of proven high-level professional knowledge and skills in SAP Security systems
5+ years leading organizational change efforts at large company and within a matrix organization
Experience with SAP Security implementation and upgrades
Troubleshoot SAP authorization related issues, resolve root causes, clear documentation of defects
Passion for and knowledge of new technologies to deliver best solutions
Demonstrate history of process improvements and desire to implement standard methodologies
History of building credibility and maintaining excellent client service relationships
Interact and partner with all levels of management
"Collaborator" who possesses proven communication skills
Anticipate change and respond to client priorities with agility
Knowledge of general ledger, hierarchies, and data structures
Must possess strong quantitative and analytical skills combined with solid business and financial savvy
Experience with supporting front of house and back of house finance/accounting financial integrity
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to succinctly convey relevant information across multiple levels of the organization
Recognize and adapt to different audiences and client's inquiries and ideas
Ability to gain agreement on priorities and balance concurrent work efforts
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in SAP R/3 and S/4 HANA Security (User Access Management)
Experience with BI/BW, BOBJ, and Fiori Security
Experience leading and advocating Security audits, SOX controls, and Governance, Risks & Compliance
Experience with identifying SOD (Segregation of Duties) risks
PMP or other professional project management certification
Experience in using Business Objects and/or Cognos reporting tools
Experience in developing Excel VBA macros
Experience developing end user training
Experience implementing Security processes and controls
Experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
Experience using systems crafted to manage issues, changes, and testing (e.g., ALM, SNOW, & Q-test)
SAP Security Process Controls
Software application license owner (e.g., Alteryx, Tableau, SharePoint, Winshuttle)

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, California is $128,700.00 to $157,100.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
