Leidos Corporate has an immediate opportunity for a Financial Systems Analyst to join our Enterprise Systems Transformation (EST) Organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate business system transitions, process improvements, strategic business initiatives, Costpoint improvement initiatives as well as ongoing operations.

This position offers partial telecommute and partial onsite support from one of the following locations: Oak Ridge

  • TN, Reston

  • VA, King of Prussia

  • PA, Huntsville

  • AL, Rockville

  • MD.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the functional Coordinator for business system transitions and process improvement transformation projects.

  • Coordinate the implementation of business process Improvement Initiatives to meet the needs of the business

  • Coordinate financial system requirements, testing, user access and project status meetings and issue resolution

  • Functionally coordinate Corporate Strategic business initiatives or special projects

  • Support EST Operations with the following: MR release testing, system upgrade testing, Defect Resolution, timely review/approval of system change requests (RFCs), intelligent automation, and advanced analytics

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (or related field) with 4-8 years of prior relevant experience in one of the following areas: financial systems analysis, finance, or accounting.

  • Costpoint financial system experience is required.

  • Experience leading projects and able to work with all levels of personnel with excellent leadership, verbal, written communication skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.

  • Able to think "out of the box" to solve problems, make processes more efficient.

  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment with diverse locations.

  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.

  • Customer service focused.

FM provides critical financial services to GAO to include the development, maintenance, and management of GAO's accounting operations, fiscal policy, and financial management systems. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities As a Financial Management Analyst, the employee will provide overall support for GAO business and financial management systems and subsystems including end user support, data analysis support, business process support, system operation support, and system enhancement and upgrade support. Specifically, the tasks include: * Provide operational support for GAO's financial management system. Monitors financial management system interfaces. Investigates and resolves system issues collaborating with other functional and technical resources as needed. Maintains and updates financial management system configurations as necessary. * Provides support for financial management system changes and enhancements. Develops requirements, provides feedback in design and development phases. Performs and leads others in system integration and user acceptance testing. Facilitates the implementation of the software changes. * Provides support to users of GAO's financial management system. Investigates, tracks and manages end user help desk tickets. Develops manuals, training materials and quick reference guides for end users. Provides or facilitates end user training as needed. * Provides analytical support to GAO financial management system users. Develops, maintains and runs reports for system users. Conducts data analysis using tools such as Excel, Access or business intelligence (BI) software. Conducts analysis of business processes and provides recommendations for improvements. * Provides support for financial management system security and audit functions. Develops, documents and monitors financial management system internal controls. Collaborates with GAO Information System Security Officer to maintain system security. Provides support for audit and internal control review requests. * Represents GAO in legislative branch agency meetings and government-wide forums. Participates in financial management system (LBFMS) operational support meetings hosted by GAO's shared service provider. Attends Momentum user group meetings. Participates in government-wide user groups and forums to address changes affecting operations of financial management systems. * Provides project management support in the administration of the financial management system. Develops, updates and maintains project schedules. Provides input into risk management activities. Develops and maintains system documentation and procedures. Facilitates and participates in meetings related to system initiatives and operational status. Communicates with GAO financial management system stakeholders.
