The successful candidate will support SSGA in all matters relating to structured incentive plans (SIP). The incumbent will be the primary liaison between SSGA Finance and SSGA Compensation for incentive compensation matters. The incumbent will be responsible to identify compensation design issues unique to the business and work with the compensation team and the business in the modeling, forecasting and budgeting for existing, new or redesigned structured initiative plans. Further, the incumbent will participate with and lead cross departmental and cross functional teams managing SIP projects of varying scope and complexity.
Provide financial modeling support during SIP design phase:
Subject matter expert for relevant financial data sources
Obtain and QC relevant financial data on a timely basis
Perform (or direct) forward looking and back testing scenario modeling within agreed upon timeframes
Present financial modeling results to senior management
Liaison with senior management and SSGA to ensure incentive compensation pools are:
Participant allocations are completed on a timely basis
Ensure that State Street's SIPs meet business needs and are consistent with risk excellence standards (e.g. mitigating regulatory, financial, operational and reputational risk)
Collaborate cross-functionally and cross-regionally with other members of SSGA Finance and SSGA Compensation to address client needs and comprehensively provide support, guidance and assistance for the ongoing administration and evolution of SIPs
Manage the structured incentive plan design cycle, including the planning, administration, budgeting, accrual and implementation
Strong business acumen and the ability to understand business strategies, objectives, and key performance metrics.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills as well as an ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to successful completion in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent MS Office experience with advanced Excel expertise with a willingness to work hands on in the research and data details as well as in the analysis.
Experience interpreting data and presenting information and findings.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing in order to exchange information and be able to seek out specific information from others. Job requires significant interface with members of HR, finance and operating management.

Bachelor's degree in business, management, finance, mathematics, human resources, or related field.
At least 5 years of progressive, hands on experience at a best in class company or consulting firm.
