Position Description:

CGI Federal is seeking a Financial Specialist I to support EOUSA in Washington DC.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

  • Uploading invoice information to a spreadsheet from received emails from vendors

  • Uploading invoice information to our USAforms e-process for invoice approvals, following up with program managers if invoices are not approved in a timely manner

  • Uploading approved invoices into our accounting system UFMS

  • Reviewing and correcting errors and other issues in uploading invoices UFMS

  • Preparing for approval such documents that correct or adjust received invoices

  • Review invoice tracking chart against paid invoices in UFMA and complete a report, listing still outstanding invoices

  • Run open obligation and obligation status reports in UFMS and identify obligations that should be closed

  • Prepare documents for approval to de-obligate unused funding in obligations

  • Prepare documents for approval to de-commit unused funding in commitments in UFMS

  • Be involved in daily clerical tasks that include any copying, printing, filing of financial documents

  • Prepare and/or review funding documents such as 186, 186A, 1164 and RA (DOJ-216) forms

  • Compare paid invoice report with time period of obligation and prepare a report of missing invoices, or other perceived issues

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must be able to successfully obtain a DOJ Public Trust

Experience in financial analysis preferred
