Summary:

This position is a supervised internship during which the Financial Specialist works under the guidance and supervision of an experienced CFO. The internship consists of the supervised practice of hospital financial administration, with instruction in the management of accounting, budgeting, statistical reporting, and patient financial services.

This internship may include the rotation through several hospitals. There will likely be temporary assignments at different hospitals. It is anticipated that eventually this position will move into a permanent position in the company as Controller or CFO.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.

Masters degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

Licensed Certified Public Accountant preferred.

Experience:

Four years progressive accounting/finance experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.

Supervisory experience is preferred.
