Are you passionate about helping members with their financial needs? Are you looking for a position that offers a fun and dynamic work environment? We are looking for a Financial Solutions Representative to join our San Diego branch. This role will be responsible for assisting members with day to day transactions; as well identifying and offering Credit Union products and services to best fit members' needs. Having a minimum of three years of experience in a bank or credit union branch environment with an emphasis on sales will help you succeed.

Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful:

Job Duties:

  • Process routine financial business for members quickly and accurately, including deposits and withdrawals, loan payments, traveler's checks and money orders

  • Provide the highest quality of service to all members; promptly address member concerns and/or escalate to leadership when appropriate

  • Listen to members and recommend options that best fit their needs, cross-selling and making referrals when appropriate using the online tracking and CRM systems

  • Actively participate in programs and procedures that drive sales

  • Build strong relationships with existing members

  • Follow up activities for new and existing members, which can include outbound calls and business development activities

  • Opportunity to serve as a peer coach

  • Opportunities to partner with other lines of business in sales and service activities

  • Opportunity to assist our members in their financial goals by multiple deposit & lending product options

Essential Skills:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' previous experience in a fast-paced, high volume service and sales environment; financial industry experience preferred

  • Experience accurately managing large amounts of cash and other financial negotiable items (in person and electronically)

  • Must have experience in Sales or Service, with emphasis on customer relations

  • Inbound and/or outbound sales experience preferred

  • Ability to support First Tech branding in business development opportunities

  • Proficiency in basic mathematics, ten-key

Location: San Diego CA 92127

Schedule: 40 Hours per week, Monday through Friday
