GENERAL SUMMARY: In this customer facing role, the Financial Services II will provide exceptional customer care to the Bank's customers assisting them with daily transactions, inquiries, problem resolution and basic banking transactions at a full-service Cape Cod Five Retail Bank location.


  • Develops rapport with customers, greeting customers by name, understand account ownership types and authority, being responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, while display a caring attitude (GUEST philosophy)

  • Provide excellent customer care to customers relative to daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution, in accordance with Bank policies and procedures

  • Performs basic banking transactions including: processing deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, check cashing, money orders and treasurer's check issuance and savings bond redemption

  • Safeguards customer trust by upholding duty of customer confidentiality

  • Works to develop a comprehensive knowledge of the Bank's products and services offered, taking responsibility to request assistance for further development needs

  • Must comply with all required regulations, guidelines, and policies

  • Timely completion of all assigned learning activities

  • Actively participate in branch meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions

  • Learns to fulfill all branch closing activities

  • Introduces and advises on the Bank's deposit and consumer loan products and services to appropriately meet customer needs in a proactive manner

  • Proficient in determining customer's existing and prospective financial needs and identifies referrals to other business lines (Investment Services, TAM, Commercial, Cash Management, etc.)

  • Maintain a working knowledge of product and service offerings including consumer, business, non-profit, retirement, Online Banking, BillPay, debits cards

  • Assists customers in preparing loan applications for home equity products and personal loans

  • Participation/volunteerism in community groups and events

  • Additional duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required

  • Associates Degree or pursuing higher education degree


  • Minimum one year cash handling experience preferred

  • Minimum one year customer service experience

  • Eligible for NMLS registration

  • Prior customer relationship building experience

  • Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customers

We are looking for a motivated self-starter to join our growing agriculture organization to be an Agronomy Sales Representative, II. You will work with farmers, ranchers and producers to promote the proper use of crop protection products, plant food, seed and other services offered at the cooperative to area producers by making on-the-farm sales presentations. The ideal candidate will have a strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to formulate fertilizer applications. You will: * Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans within an assigned medium to large size sales territory and/or level of account(s). * Focus on personal sales targets, new business development and troubleshooting on problem or key local market accounts. * Create and recommend specific agronomy programs to targeted accounts with the goal of increasing agronomy business. * Spend a majority of time developing relationships with farmers to earn business. * Utilize seed, Precision Farming technology, finance, and other marketing tools to grow market share. * Understand the business functions of the employee team and assist the team in improving the efficiency and profitability of the location(s) assigned. * Coordinate with custom applicators and tanks on the spreading, spraying, and delivery of bulk fertilizer to assure the cost-effective use of equipment. * Establish and maintain effective public relations through customer education and the promotion of new products. * Ensure that federal and state regulations pertaining to chemicals and fertilizers are observed and adhered to. * Work with patrons in a courteous and professional manner. * Perform other duties as needed or assigned. * Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands. * Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions. Basic Qualifications (required): * 5 plus years of Agronomy sales or related sales experience * Ability to work extended hours in-season * Preferred Qualifications (desired): * Bachelor's degree Experience with: * Extensive knowledge of agronomy * Utilizing sales tools to achieve all goals and objectives. * Relationship building with internal and external customers. * Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities.
