Provides exceptional customer service while educating customers on a wide variety of products and services. Ensures proper documentation and compliance for all new accounts and account maintenance.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Counsels customers on product selection, capitalizes on cross-selling opportunities, and establishes new accounts. Originates/closes consumer loans, mortgage loans, and second mortgage products, ensures proper documentation for all account maintenance, and handles safe deposit rentals and access where applicable. Resolves routine customer issues or problems. Stays abreast of all banking regulations and internal policies/procedures regarding products/services. 50%
  • Redeems and exchanges savings bonds, processes check orders and loan documents, prepares customer correspondence, and may open and process incoming mail. Provides backup to Branch Officer/Asst. Branch Manager or teller line as needed and facilitates and participates in branch team meetings. 25%
  • Participates in all internal sales/referral programs in order to achieve branch goals and support all bankwide initiatives. 25%
  • Ensures compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, and prescribed policies/practices/procedures necessary to reduce risk and uphold ethical standards related to and required by one's duties

Must be eligible to be registered in the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry for purposes of SAFE Act, if applicable.


  • High school diploma


  • Minimum 2 years' customer service experience

Represent the organization as a business subject matter expert to ensure claims in a negative balance state and/or overpayment identifications are recovered and resolved timely and appropriately. Drive all enterprise recovery outcomes, negative balance reconciliation and reduction. Lead and drive EmblemHealth brand and customer experience by seeking out opportunities for continuous quality improvement. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the oversight of discovery, validation, and recovery of claim overpayments. * Partner with internal business leads to validate claim overpayments then set strategy for recovery plan. * Manage recovery plan by assigning specialist to track recovery efforts. * Report to department leadership on progress of recovery efforts. * Establish relationship with recovery vendors. * Manage overpayment trend analysis and validation of recovery of claim payment errors in collaboration with Medical Economics, Payment Integrity Leader, Claim Operations and Recovery Vendors. * Manage high profile provider networks. * Establish relationship with network representative. * Partner with network representative to resolve overpayments and arrange for timely recovery. * Manage the review of complex research and resolution of recovery projects in collaboration with Provider Network Management, Claim Operations and/or other business areas as needed. * Manage relationship with collection vendors. * Partner with vendor to validate overpayments and manage invoices. Qualifications: * Bachelors' degree * 5 - 8+ years of relevant experience in Knowledge Management and Improvement, Change Management, and Customer Experience. (R) * Additional related healthcare experience may be considered lieu of Degree. * Energy, drive and passion for End-to-End excellence and customer experience improvement. (R) * Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to influence management decisions. (R) * Strong problem solving and analytical skills to be applied across all types of business problems.
