As a Financial Services Industry Leader at BlueMetal, a Division of Insight, you'll use your 10-15 years of experience within the industry to proactively promote collaboration between BlueMetal and leadership within Financial Services clients.

What you'll do at Insight:

  • Engage- Engage with financial services clients to strengthen the partner relationship

  • Network You'll be known as a leader within the Financial Services field, and perform speaking engagements and drive thought leadership amongst your peers

  • Communicate- Maintain a direct line of communication with our Sales and Delivery teams and seek out opportunity for BlueMetal to delivery on our services

  • Teamwork - The industry lead will be an indispensable resource for the sales team working hand in hand through the sales cycle. The principal charter being business development and support.

What you'll need to join Insight:

  • Bachelor's Degree from a 4-year college or university, with strong preference for graduate education industry certificates and licenses
  • 10-15 years of experience in multiple leadership roles within the IT organization of Financial Services Companies

Job Overview Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Business Development Executive to support our Financial Services practice in our Boston office. The Business Development Executives will be a full portfolio sellers, who focuses on a specific list of Enterprise and Strategic clients within Financial Service companies. Assigned clients are a mix of existing and new targets. Within the Financial Services practice we focus on Responsibilities * Applies and leverages Perficient Sales Processes, Solution Selling and Account Management practices. * Responsible for generating sales in excess of $3-5+M per year of IT consulting services. * Candidate should possess a strong suite of local client relationships (Fortune 500, CIOs, Senior Information Systems Executives, and Senior Business Executives) as well as industry relationships (software vendors, integrators). * Has a "hunter" mentality – loves to cold call and open new accounts – requires strong phone skills. * Leads and manages customer engagement opportunities from lead generation, to deal review, to negotiations and closing a deal. * 3+ years Account Management Experience. Qualifications * Years of Experience: 8-15+ years of services sales or professional consulting experience. * Must have experience selling Consulting Services. * Experience selling into Financial Service organizations (banking, asset and wealth management, capital markets, and insurance). * A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 500 clients. * Knowledge of/experience with structured sales methodologies, e.g., Strategic Selling, Solution Selling, SPIN, Power based Selling, Target Account Selling. * Able to partner with clients to understand their organizational needs and recommend solutions that add value to their business. * Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills; strong customer service and interpersonal skills. * Excellent collaboration and team-building skills.
