Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Sales Analyst (internally known as Sales Analyst) with a background in consumer products to join our Finance team. The focus is on resolution of customer chargebacks, managing accruals for sales reduction programs, and administration of MAP pricing. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in excel to synthesize data from multiple sources. The Sales Analyst will report to the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager and will collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, Credit, Supply Chain, Customer Service, IT and Corporate Accounting.
This position is hybrid and will be on-site in our Valhalla, NY office one day per week.

These companies market a broad range of consumer and commercial products in North America and Latin America. The Imaging Division (ID) provides consumer and commercial photographic products and services. The Electronic Imaging Division (EID) markets consumer digital cameras; the Graphic Communications Division (GCD) supplies products and services to the graphic printing industry; the Optical Devices Division (OD) provides optical lenses for broadcast, cinematography, closed circuit television and binoculars. The Industrial Products Division (IPD) supplies cutting edge digital imaging and conventional film, chemistry and equipment to the NDT industry.

Responsibilities
Chargeback Management: Manage end-to-end chargeback processes, including investigation, analysis, and resolution. Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Service teams to identify root causes of chargebacks and implement preventive measures. Regularly review chargeback trends and provide insights to enhance business processes.
Sales Reduction Programs: Establish balance sheet accrual funds for sales reduction programs and monitor activity to ensure accurate net sales reporting. Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and collaborate with sales teams to implement strategies. Monitor the effectiveness of reduction programs and recommend adjustments as needed.
MAP administration: Manage the administration and enforcement of company MAP policies. Monitor and manage MAP violation notices and enforcement activities of engaged third party service provider. Create, obtain Legal approval for, and distribute MAP product and price change announcements, including new product additions, product removals and MAP price changes. Liaise with legal counsel, 3rd Party provider, Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Order Services and Customers.
Data Synthesis: Collect, analyze, and synthesize sales data from various sources to provide actionable insights. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards for key performance indicators related to chargebacks and sales reduction programs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
System Proficiency: Experience with ERP systems and proficiency with excel. Able to learn and navigate various systems related to sales, finance, and data analysis. Work closely with IT and other relevant teams to troubleshoot system issues and optimize data integration processes.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement in chargeback management and sales reduction initiatives.
Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends to enhance analytical capabilities.
Required Skills/Education
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or related field.
3-5 years of experience in consumer product sales, marketing or finance.
2 + years working with SAP or similar ERP system
2 + years of experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or similar system
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools
