Job Description Job Description Manager of Financial Reporting | Hybrid - N. Chi Sub | $150k - $190k Bonus We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned professional to join our team client’s as a Financial Reporting Manager.

In this pivotal role, you will lead and mentor the financial reporting team within the corporate controller's group, ensuring meticulous preparation of SEC filings and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will be instrumental in managing complex accounting areas, such as stock-based compensation and derivatives, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and communication across corporate finance departments. With a focus on integrity, trust, and continuous self-development, you will drive innovation and ensure regulatory compliance, all while spearheading initiatives to enhance internal controls and streamline departmental operations.

Duties: Supervises the preparation of SEC filings, encompassing 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K reports, ensuring adherence to regulatory mandates. Manages the upkeep of the lease system to fulfill lease obligation disclosures and manage accounting aspects of benefit plans. Constructs financial statements for both domestic and international subsidiaries, maintaining compliance with SEC, FASB, and IASB guidelines.

Guides, mentors, and oversees the financial reporting team within the corporate controller's group, providing direction and supervision. Empowers team members with responsibility and authority to encourage development and attainment of departmental goals. Exemplifies integrity, trustworthiness, and continuous self-improvement to drive innovation and ensure regulatory compliance.

Fosters robust relationships between the financial reporting team and other corporate finance departments through clear communication. Encourages cross-functional collaboration and participation within the matrix organizational structure. Tracks modifications in reporting regulations, analyzing their implications and supporting compliance endeavors.

Conducts research and analysis on reporting matters and business developments, including due diligence for potential acquisitions. Aids in the implementation of policies and procedures to maintain regulatory conformity. Manages or aids in accounting for intricate areas such as stock-based compensation, derivatives, and retirement benefits.

Assists in computing basic and diluted earnings per share and associated disclosures. Offers assistance to senior management on assorted projects and initiatives. Promotes the development of skills across the finance team and initiates enhancements to current processes.

Executes assigned special projects and introduces process adjustments to bolster internal controls. Abides by departmental processes and procedures to bolster internal controls. Identifies and rectifies internal control deficiencies to streamline departmental operations.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related. CPA certification. 7 years of experience, including 3 years of financial reporting experience, spanning both public accounting and private industry. Well-rounded knowledge of financial reporting rules and regulations, with the ability to apply financial concepts to business operations.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; SAP systems experience is advantageous. Effective collaboration with all management levels in a deadline-oriented environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
