MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
JOB SUMMARY
Assist with the preparation of the Company's Form 10-K and Form 10-Q filings, including
quarterly tie-out of financial statements, footnotes and MD&A. Assist with the completion of the quarterly GAAP disclosure checklist
Assist with the preparation of consolidated financial statements and analytics
Perform calculations for monthly and quarterly reporting as needed
Derivative accounting and preparation of related disclosures
Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Facilitate audit related requests and interact with external auditors
Assist with SOX controls and documentation
Cross-functional interaction with tax, legal, investor relations, financial planning & analysis
Assist with Financial Reporting related functions and cross-functional general accounting duties as needed
Involvement with special projects, as needed
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for SEC reporting
Ability to interact with external auditors in the capacity of providing requested data and responses
Ability to complete assignments in the most efficient and effective manner possible
Innovative personality to improve current processes
Knowledge of closing process, including timeliness of recording journal entries, preparing financial statements and completion of SEC filing documents
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
BBA in Accounting
CPA or progression toward CPA
1+ years of experience in Public Accounting (Audit) and/or Financial Reporting
Strong Analytical Skills
Attention to detail
Proficient, Self-Starter and Team player
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (V-lookups and Pivots in Excel)
Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge of Solomon Accounting System or similar Accounting Software
Knowledge of Workiva/Workdesk or similar SEC filing tool
Knowledge of OneStream Consolidations or similar Financial Reporting Software
ABILITIES REQUIRED
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently
Ability to use personal computer, calculator, etc.
Could involve some lifting up to 20 pounds
Ability to sit for extended periods of time without much movement
Ability to work in time-sensitive environment with non-flexible deadlines
All candidates must have the ability to speak, read and write English
