Financial Reporting Analyst

This role will support Financial Planning & Analysis for Inspire Company Owned Restaurants and provide direct support to restaurant operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide day-to-day support for restaurant operations including reviewing and responding to brand P&L questions and assisting in the creation of reporting solutions.

• Perform variances analysis, provide explanations of key drivers, critical insights, and actionable recommendations to operations.

• Support annual budget and periodic forecasting processes.

• Partner with operations to capture and manage their requests effectively, educate operations on financial processes, and provide hands on support to assist operations in resolving needs with internal and external stakeholders.

• Function as a true business partner, addressing ad hoc requests and ensuring the success of these teams.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across various functions, including accounting, corporate finance, lease administration, construction, and restaurant operations.

• Consistently identify and propose ways to improve day-to-day operations to allow Business Partners to be more successful.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-year Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field required.
• 1-3 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or similar role.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

• Strong track record as a proven team player.

• Ability to manage time and multiple projects, often with time constraints.

• Self-starter and problem solver with strong business acumen and ability to anticipate issues and think through creative solutions.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, including PowerPoint and Excel.

• Experience with Business Intelligence analysis and presentation tools, including Tableau and Power BI preferred.

• Experience with Enterprise Planning and Reporting software such as Hyperion, ePBCS, and SmartView preferred.
