Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst

Department & Team: Corporate Finance, Technical Account

Location: Virtual (US)

Summary:

We are looking for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join our external reporting team. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, this candidate is responsible for performing financial analysis of our business and results, and driving key deliverables to support internal and external financial reporting requirements. This is a newly created role due to company growth that will have high visibility with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, experience with and curiosity about large complex companies with a high volume of complex transaction and issues.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate and document variance analysis to support commentary on significant fluctuations in the Company's balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statement, including the preparation of the commentary on the company's results (i.e. MD&A reporting)

  • Prepare various footnote disclosures to be included in the Company's external reporting

  • Perform tie-out procedures to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Company's external reporting and earnings materials

  • Streamline the use of the Workiva reporting tool for use in all external reporting deliverables

  • Visible and cross-functional position working closely with members of accounting, legal, investor relations, FP&A, and internal and external auditors on accounting and reporting matters

  • Perform various consolidation and close related tasks to support the financial statement reporting process

  • Participate in SOX compliance effort over relevant areas of responsibility

  • Assist in compliance with other external statutory reporting and governmental reporting requirements

  • Assist with various ad hoc special projects in collaboration with technical accounting group that drive innovation in a dynamic work environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or relevant field

  • Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience either with 2 yearsat a Big 4 accounting firm (working on public companies) or in external reporting for a public company

  • CPA

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and Workiva (preferred)

  • SaaS/tech experience (preferred)

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Strong multi-tasking skills and flexibility to switch from one project to the next

Compensation:

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.

$43,900.00 - $86,100.00
