Job Description:

This position offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with prior Teller, limited banking, or some retail sales experience who are interested in beginning a career with opportunities for growth, development and upward mobility.

Financial Relationship Specialists are responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience and contribute to improving the financial wellness of our customers.

The successful candidate should be ambitious and adaptable with a desire to educate customers on the ability to bank when, where, and how they want. This requires an individual who is motivated by a fast paced and energetic environment, with the ability to provide personalized customer service.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provides a consistent optimal customer experience, primarily handling customers' transactional needs, including but not limited to performing teller activities such as deposits, withdrawals, payments, and balancing

  • Answers customer inquiries regarding products and services, fulfills basic servicing requests, and opens basic Consumer products such as checking and savings accounts

  • Works to create and establish relationships with customers, remaining well-informed about the customer's relationship with the bank

  • Educates customers on standard consumer products, emerging bank technology and digital solutions such as mobile, online, and ATM offerings, all designed to make banking easier

  • Assists branch and fellow team members with achieving goals by assisting with basic tasks to aid in customer problem resolution

  • Refers customers to an internal team of experts when more complex financial goals and needs are recognized

  • Achieves required levels of outbound phone calls using generated customer and prospect lead lists to educate customers on emerging technology and assist with meeting their financial needs

  • Ensures safe and sound banking practices, including adherence to all applicable laws and regulations

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime under the non-exempt FLSA classification for hours worked in excess of 40 per week.

This position is incentive eligible.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to assist customers with digital banking offerings

  • Strong customer focus

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

Preferred Experience:

  • 1-2 years prior banking, sales, and/or customer service experience
  • 2+ years prior cash handling or Teller experience

VIEW JOBS 1/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-04-15T00:00 Primary Function * Supervises second shift Quality Control operations. * Works with other department heads to ensure the highest standard of quality for products as specified by Sanderson Farms' quality assurance program. * Cooperates with customer representatives to ensure that current specifications for products are being met. * Works with USDA inspection and grading personnel and production supervisors to ensure all requirements are being met. * Informs Quality Control Superintendent and Division Manager on variances from standards of equipment, personnel, incoming materials and finished products as it relates to quality control. Major Responsibilities * Trains and supervises activities of quality control personnel in the following areas at the Hazlehurst Processing Division: poultry slaughter, eviscerating and chilling; fast food cut-up; marination; chill pack; deboning; other operations as needed. * Ensures quality of products received and produced by daily machine checks, moisture tests, temperature checks, saw cut checks, grade checks, proper icing, etc. * Ensures high yields by checking the accuracy of scales, scale sheets, weights from previous day's production, package weights, etc.; monitor plant for floor waste, and do drain checks for usable product. * Prepares and distributes daily quality control reports for management. * Monitors plant for compliance with USDA regulations. * Manages the SIS program in plant. * Investigates and responds to customer inquiries and complaints as directed by the Division Manager, and Quality Control Superintendent. * Maintains quality control hold tag log and supervises hold tag program on second shift. * Inspects facility for pest activity and works with pest control company on extermination. * Monitors, evaluates and coordinates with sales and plant management, products returned from customers. * Communicates useful information to plant supervisors. * Orders necessary supplies and charts and coordinates with Division Manager and Quality Control Superintendent in preparing the quality control budgets. * Provides leadership and encouragement in a mood of safety consciousness as well as efficiency of production. * Performs other duties as required. Key Working Relationships * Reports to Quality Control Superintendent, who provides general supervision and policy guidance concerning the nature and scope of work, as well as specific projects. * Keeps Division Manager and Quality Control Superintendent informed with timely and sufficient information in all aspects of the quality control program. * Maintains close working relationship with USDA personnel as it relates to regulations and product quality. * Maintains close working relationships with all departments in processing plant including maintenance and sales in all aspects of product quality control. * Works with other individuals and groups internally and externally as required to contribute to the goals of Sanderson Farms, Inc. quality control program. Position Requirements Academic: High school graduate with two years of college or technical training in related area or equivalent experience. Experience: Two years' experience in quality assurance related area or completion of Sanderson Farms Management Training Program. Personal: Identifies with the values, philosophy and mission of Sanderson Farms, Inc. control program. Organizes tasks and performs duties effectively. Demonstrates knowledge in the operation of machinery and be aware of what personnel in each job are capable of doing so that accurate quality control data can be collected.
