CBIZ KA Consulting Services, a firm with a 40+ year history advising clients on matters of healthcare finance, seeks to fill an open position in our Financial Reimbursement Services team. Our ideal candidate is early in their career and possesses the analytical skills to understand data models, ask questions about key levers, and willingness to grow their understanding of healthcare reimbursement and financial operations.

Emphasis will be placed on the candidate's intellectual curiosity and ability to problem solve regardless of the context of the data; therefore, no healthcare experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher degree

• Ability to read technical documents

• Technical skills

• Proficiency in relational database structure, including T-SQL queries

• Extract/Transform/Load data tools

• Data visualization experience

• Undergraduate coursework, regardless of degree

• Application of statistics

• Data visualization/analytics

• Computer science

• Experience with healthcare revenue cycle not required, but beneficial

• Familiarity with Hospital and Physician reimbursement mechanics

• Medicare Cost Report

• Service line modeling, profitability analysis

Responsibilities

• Regular data processing for clients

• Analysis skills to identify gaps in data or other quality issues

• Preparation of ad-hoc spreadsheets in support of routine reporting

• Development of reimbursement or analytic modules in response to changes in reimbursement policy

• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED

• 3 years of relevant experience

• Must possess analytical skills

• Must be able to comprehend, manipulate and interpret statistical data

• Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally

• Proficient use of applicable technology
