Financial Project Portfolio Manager

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Financial Project Portfolio Manager for an opportunity in Raritan, New Jersey (NJ), to join a global pharmaceutical company. This position can by hybrid or work from home.

Responsibilities of the Financial Project Portfolio Manager

• Works directly with the Quality Head, Laboratory and functional leads, Finance and Project portfolio leads to manage budgeting, financial performance, project prioritization, status review and performance tracking of the organization

• Will incorporate inputs from the functional and operational leads to develop project plans, continually evaluate prioritization and assess financial impact to ensure successful execution of the organization's strategy

• Perform as Chief of Staff, focusing on HQ reconciliation, running staff meetings, facilitating business meetings, assisting with annual budgets, coordinating on capital purchase, and managing monthly cadence of capital review

Qualifications of the Financial Project Portfolio Manager

• 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Project Management, or Portfolio Management in Finance, Manufacturing, or Quality Operations environments

• Financial acumen demonstrated through budgeting experience and analytics, with an ability to prioritize a complex portfolio in the context of business needs

• Experience reporting project performance using systems such as Microsoft Excel, Planisware, Ariba, SAP, FpX, and Microsoft Project, and tracking performance via Capex/Opex/Savings

• Ability to sense risks in the overall plan by integrating multiple data inputs across the value stream and from the sites/business units

• Project Management Certification preferred

• Bachelor's Degree required; Business, Technical and/or Advanced degree preferred

Compensation for the Financial Project Portfolio Manager

• Salary Range: $65 - $70/hour
