Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support corporate development evaluation of acquisition targets
Provide project management and due diligence support for M&A and major capital investments
Actively participate in due diligence and deal structuring, including working with legal counsel and third-party advisors
Develop detailed financial models and valuation analysis for potential transactions
Assist in managing M&A integration processes, actively interfacing with functional leaders to ensure seamless deal execution and integration
Track actual performance of acquisitions against deal projections
Supporting the production of detailed, bottom-up budgets and forecasts to support short-term and long-term strategic planning, including process development and presentation development
Working directly with the various business and functional leaders to educate and support them in developing their strategic plans, budgets, and forecasts
Maintain a 13-week rolling cash flow forecast
Collaborate with IT in the development, implementation, maintenance and training of business intelligence, scorecards, dashboards, and other monitoring tools
Researching and investigating financial and operational performance variance issues and assisting business leaders in taking appropriate corrective actions
Providing data and trends related to customers, vendors and markets, that further inform the understanding of key trends in the business
Performing economic and industry analyses to identify and recommend response strategies to trends impacting the business
Qualifications and Requirements:
1-3+ years of relevant experience in Finance and FP&A roles
Bachelor's Degree required, ideally in finance or accounting
A strong track record of financial analysis, preferably in a private equity or banking organization with experience involving acquisitions and/or sale processes; international experience a plus
Proven project management skills and an ability to prioritize tasks with competing deadlines
Experience and ability to model and synthesize complex financial analysis, operational, and KPI data into concise presentations and decision framework, on a regular basis
Experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting
Solid business acumen, ideally with previous experience in investment banking or private equity ownership
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with acute attention to detail, accuracy and accountability balanced with sound business judgment
Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines. A high sense of urgency and ability to prioritize
Effective time management and organizational skills
Ability to adapt and thrive with change and complexity
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS Office Suite; highly proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sumifs) and PowerPoint
Bilingual in English and Spanish (highly desired)
