Overview

The Associate Financial Planning Analyst is responsible to assist in developing and delivering prospective financial analysis models, budgets, forecasts and reporting in support of business planning and management decisions. The position will be aligned to a major business segment within Fulton Financial Corporation (Consumer, Commercial, Shared Services), and will provide recommendations under general direction of the Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. It is expected that the Associate Analyst will rapidly assume certain duties normally reserved for Analysts and will be given some decision making authority over certain deliverables.

Flexible Hybrid Work Location - Both remote and on-site work options are required for this role based out of our Corporate Headquarters office in Lancaster, PA.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in sourcing, compiling, analyzing and presenting financial information, developing forecasts, models and other reporting as directed, and provide recommendations for business planning

  • Assist in producing standard and ad-hoc reporting, engaging Financial Planning and segment leaders to provide interpretation, clarification and ensure accuracy, make adjustments as directed

  • Take on a leadership role in improving existing reporting

  • Participate in internal and external audits, examinations and systems initiatives

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor Degree or the equivalent experience. Specialty: Finance, Accounting or other applicable. (Required)

Experience:

  • 1 or more years Corporate Financial Planning or Accounting experience or equivalent +4 years of experience in lieu of degree (Total of 5 years experience required without a degree). (Required)
  • Strong Excel skills. This role has heavy Excel reporting responsibilities. (Required)
  • Essbase experience (Preferred)
  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule of both remote and on-site based out of Lancaster, PA. (Required)
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail, think independently, learn reporting quickly and accurately for Executive distribution. (Required)

This role may perform other job duties as assigned by the manager. You will be primarily charged with being a Business Partner by providing financial analysis to senior management to drive profitability in their business channel.
