Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

This analyst is responsible for the most complex accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis of an organization's expenditures and initiatives.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Generate financial statements and perform financial consolidation for month-end close.

  • Provide analysis in financial budgeting and planning, and support management to enhance understanding of financial data and performance.

  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of the company's internal financial database.

  • Analyze trends, identify discrepancies, investigate and resolve issues related to SAP reporting and perform analysis on sales and margin reports.

  • Provide analytical support in capital expenditure, margin and cost variation, and respond to ad-hoc questions from management and internal departments.

  • Support the development of financial models and other analytical tools to enhance the efficiency of business applications and processes.

  • Coach less-experienced financial analysts as needed.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Requires at least 3-5 years related experience.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Access.

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion) preferred.

  • Good interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
