Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

We're looking for an experienced and detail oriented Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to join our growing team. As a FP&A manager, you will play a crucial role in driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities to support strategic decision-making across the organization. You will partner directly with CFO and executive team to explain drivers of business performance; create annual and long-term strategic plans to inform financial targets; build innovative dashboards that offer insights on risks and opportunities; partner with operations and sales teams on special initiatives; and play an integral part in future fundraising and acquisition efforts. You're most likely to be successful in this role if you possess strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and actionable financial plans.

• Develop and maintain financial models and automated dashboards to support strategic initiatives, scenario analysis, and decision-making.

• Analyze financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior year, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operating reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

• Partner with C-level executives to understand operational drivers and trends, and provide financial support and guidance on key initiatives.

• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the FP&A function, leveraging technology and automation where possible.

• Assist with and lead ad hoc financial analysis and special projects, as needed.

• Assist in Cap table management and investor relations

• Conduct all business in accordance with MessageGears policies and procedures

• 2-5 years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Private Equity preferably in the SaaS industry

• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis

• Strong business acumen and structured thinking

• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

• Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., Netsuite) and salesforce.com a plus

• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence decision-making

• High degree of integrity, professionalism, and accountability

Education and Experience Desired:

• Typically requires 2 - 3 years of experience.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Math, Statistics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
