As the Financial Operations Lead Analyst

• Data, Analytics & Security, you function as an individual contributor reporting directly to the Sr Finance Business Partner of Security and D&A. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between the Data and Analytics team with finance and supporting the latest technology platforms, data and analytics, AI/ML and security. This individual contributor role will allow you to deepen your understanding of managing a technology Profit & Loss statement, deliver operational and financial results supporting the evolution of Equifax's transformed global data ecosystem and grow as a finance leader. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing changing priorities, experienced in manipulating financial data, and proficient in distilling information down to key highlights/drivers that are relevant and meaningful to their stakeholders.

This role will be a hybrid workplace model offering the flexibility to work remotely as well as in our office located in Alpharetta or Midtown. (This is NOT a fully-remote role)

What You'll Do :

• Lead complex financial analyses around investment allocation processes, month end close and reporting and bottoms up budget

• Support technology and product leaders to measure and manage delivery of expected milestones against ongoing spend

• Leverage financial systems, product planning and operational tools to provide strategic and tactical insight to technology and product leaders for accretive decision making.

What Experience You Need :

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

• Enterprise Resource Planning toolkit

• Oracle or SAP/ Essbase financial reporting experienced is required

• Microsoft Suite

• Advanced Excel and Presentation prep

• Bottoms up Budget and Forecast preparation from scratch

• Month end close and financial reporting cadence run for an expense profit & loss in excess of $20M managed within +-3% of budget

• 5+ years of Profit & Loss management experience preferably in a technology or software organization

• Presentation Skills

• Upper management presentation prep in consultative capacity

• Detail orientation and continuous learning/improvement mindset

• Experience and knowledge of project management in a technology capacity

• Understanding of capitalization rules and capitalizing expenses

What Could Set You Apart :

• Cloud Financial Operations practices are preferred specifically understanding cloud costs/services consumed/showback and chargebacks

• Software/Hardware renewal knowledge and support

• Headcount management and reporting including full time and contractor spend

• Product Profit & Loss experience would be a plus

• Cloud FinOps management practices and certifications (Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services)
