What will you do?
Monthly financial reporting including flash report and management report
Managing month end processes
Funding and cashflow projections and assessment of costs and related variances
Review and sign off of all journals and reconciliations
SAP and HFM reporting and uploads
Annual budgeting and periodic forecasting
Statutory external audit preparation and liaison, statutory annual financial statements compilation
Monthly VAT returns assessment and submission
Bi-annual provisional tax, withholding tax returns, annual income tax returns submission and responses to SARS and tax queries
Year-end current and deferred tax calculations
Dividends and equity covenant calculations and liquidity and solvency tests
Other related and ad hoc duties

Dynamic, self starter and high attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and add value in a fast-paced environment, under pressure
Good interpersonal skills and communicator
Thorough IFRS knowledge, especially IFRS9
Ability to work with a diverse team in a hybrid environment
Experience
Experience in a similar role is beneficial
Financial Services industry experience is ideal
CA (SA) preferable
Minimum 3- 5 years post qualification work experience
