Job Description Job Description Financial Manager My Next Career Path Staffing - With over 20 years’ experience in Technology Staffing, MNCP Staffing matches candidates to the culture of an organization as well as required skill sets Duties & Responsibilities: · Budgeting and Financial Planning: Developing and implementing the university's annual budget, as well as long-term financial plans.

This includes analyzing financial data, forecasting future financial trends, and making recommendations for budget adjustments. · Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements and reports for university stakeholders, such as the board of trustees, senior management, and regulatory bodies. Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. · Cash Flow Management:

Monitoring and managing the university's cash flow, including revenue collection, payment of expenses, and investment activities. Developing strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize financial risk. · Financial Analysis: Conducting financial analysis to assess the financial performance of the university, identify areas for improvement, and make strategic recommendations.

This may include analyzing financial ratios, conducting cost-benefit analysis, and evaluating financial feasibility of new initiatives. · Grant and Funding Management:

Managing grants and funding received by the university, including tracking expenditures, ensuring compliance with funding requirements, and preparing financial reports for grantors. · Risk Management: Identifying and assessing financial risks faced by the university, such as market volatility, regulatory changes, and economic factors.

Developing and implementing risk management strategies to mitigate potential risks. · Financial Policies and Procedures: Developing and maintaining financial policies and procedures that align with best practices and regulatory requirements. Ensuring adherence to internal controls and promoting financial accountability. · Team Management:

Leading and managing a team of finance professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to ensure effective financial management across the university.
