Hello Temp is on the hunt for a contract Financial Manager that will analyze every day financial activities and subsequently provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans. The goal is to enable the company's leaders to make sound business decisions and meet the companys objectives. We are looking for an experienced project professional who loves to get in to organizations and learn something new quickly. A successful flexible Finance Manager Consultant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate has also experience collaborating and/or managing a team of Financial Analysts and loves the power of flexible work!

Responsibilities

  • Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action.
  • Advise on investment activities and provide strategies that the company should take
  • Maintain the financial health of the organization.
  • Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results and the companys actual performance compared to the business plans.
  • Develop trends and projections for the firms finances.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a project contract Financial Manager
  • Experience in the financial sector with previous possible roles such as financial analyst
  • Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns

The AML & Financial Crimes Manager is responsible for training, leading and mentoring the department associates and their work for completion of assigned duties. The AML & Financial Crimes Manager will provide support to the Compliance Director for internal procedures, special projects and other team initiatives. Provides support to the AML & Financial Crimes Team including, but not limited to, alert QA reviews, Suspicious Activity Reporting oversight, program governance, and metrics and reporting. Candidate may be eligible for relocation assistance, based on experience, if willing to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Develop and lead AML & Financial Crimes analysts, including providing coaching and supporting team culture and dynamics, to meet high performance standards. * Assist in the implementation of alerting and reviews to align with the AML act of 2020 or any other relevant priorities or regulatory changes. * Execute the Quality Control program to ensure alerts, cases, and SARs have sufficient quality and information, are completed timely, and proper feedback/training is provided to staff. * Supervise daily workflow, alert queues, metrics, Key Performance Indicators, and review and ensure the proper filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR). * Responsible for writing, maintaining, and auditing policies and procedures specific to the AML & Financial Crimes team and provide training and guidance to analysts for new functions. * Assess BSA/AML risk in current and new Firm initiatives while providing easy to understand guidance to business staff and senior management. * Lead projects related to the enhancement of the Firm's BSA/AML programs, particularly those focused on suspicious activity monitoring. * Refers and escalates cases as appropriate to law enforcement and management. Qualifications * Strong understanding of AML/BSA laws, legal codes, government regulations, agency rules including SEC/Exchange rules/regulations, Industry practice and Stifel policies and their application. * Solid understanding of the following processes: governance, compliance, legal, internal and external auditing environments, process development, change management and implementation. * Strong business writing skills; experience in writing policies and procedures and process documentation a plus * Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, maturity, intellectual curiosity, initiative and good judgment; takes pride of ownership for wins and learns from losses/mistakes. * Dedicated to accomplishing goals; willing to take on additional responsibilities to produce outstanding work; strives for excellence; maintains a positive attitude through stressful situations. Education and Experience * Minimum Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience * 3+ years of AML Brokerage or Banking Experience and 2 years of Management experience. * Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
