DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES - Essential for this position:
Forwards all completed applications to the Financial Education Center Intern Assistant Manager or Financial Education Center Business Advisor.
Refers all unresolved member questions or problems to the Financial Education Center Intern Assistant Manager or Financial Education Center Business Advisor.
Assists with the accurate monthly inventory of promotional items, applications, forms and brochures.
Assists with the orderly maintenance of the Financial Education Centers and ensures that Financial Education Center equipment is used for credit union business only.
Assists with a variety of operational procedures for the purpose of dual control.
Monitors the ATM to ensure availability to the campus community.
Adheres to the operation of PSECU's internal controls established for the Financial Education Center.
Complies with all established University Development procedures.
Staffs interest tables throughout campus to promote credit union membership, products and services.
Assists with membership and new services applications and checks for accuracy and completeness.
Assists with group presentations to university clubs and organizations, which may include weekend and evening hours.
Acts as a representative of PSECU by promoting credit union products and services.
Identifies potential groups and organizations within the campus community for membership promotions.
Recommends additional opportunities to expand membership to university faculty and staff.
Uncovers opportunities to promote the PSECU financial literacy program.
Participates in marketing campaigns at orientation and throughout the year.
Meets established membership and service goals.
Makes follow-up contact with new members through phone and/or email to ensure the success of the university member retention program.
Participates in special events which include summer orientations, move-in weekend activities, etc. to promote the value of PSECU membership to the university community. Events may include weekend, evening and summer hours.
Educates membership on automated services.
Promotes and cross-sells credit union products and services.
Directs members to online banking or Direct Access Call Center for account issues, account updates, financial transactions and inquiries.
Directs members to the website, www.psecu.com or www.college.psecu.com, when applicable.
Provides friendly member service to the university community by assisting applicants and helping to resolve member questions.
Displays professionalism at all times.
Adheres to business casual attire.
Must maintain a PSECU account in good standing. Online banking is strongly recommended, although not required.
