The Payments Risk Business Line Advisory department partners with our assigned lines of business, Retail Payment Systems (RPS) and Corporate Payment Systems (CPS), to review and oversee their AML risk framework and also partnering with other Risk/Compliance/Audit (RCA) professionals. We serve as a liaison between the lines of business and the lines of defense.
Identifying, responding to and escalating risks as appropriate.
Representing the first line of defense and manage the AML functions for the Retail Payment and Corporate Payment Systems lines of business.
Provide guidance, support, and recommendations to business lines regarding AML risk
Analyze library of reports to determine root cause of any defects and develop remediation strategy
Coordinating the Collection and/or compilation of data, and compiles and provides reports.
Working with RPS and CPS business partners in the development, maintenance and testing of controls for AML, sanctions and other financial crimes related processes.
Performing work on projects and initiatives, assists in the assessment and implementation of internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
Partnering with business stakeholders on the various elements of financial crimes compliance including KYC/CIP/CDD, sanctions screening, risk scoring/EDD/periodic review, and transaction monitoring.
Partnering with RPS and CPS business partners to develop and enhance processes intended to ensure that our business remains compliant with all relevant financial crime regulations, policies, and best practices.

Strong AML/KYC/BSA knowledge in Financial Services
Expert level knowledge of Risk/Compliance/Audit competencies, applicable
laws, regulations, financial services, and regulatory trends that impact their
assigned line of business.
