JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for interacting with customers relative to all patient account issues while maintaining excellent public relations skills with the primary emphasis being early, proactive intervention to reduce financial risk to the patient and the facility.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus 1-2 years of additional experience in a customer service setting and knowledgeable of third party payer billing and follow-up.

Must be detail/result oriented, able to maintain patient confidentiality, and have organizational, analytical and decision-making skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1-2 years of customer service experience

Previous experience with medical terminology
1+ years of financial counselor experience

Intermediate-Advanced level of Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel)
