Financial Controls Analyst 3 - Contingent

This role is on W2 only, no C2C.

Position: Financial Analyst

Duration: 12+ months contract

Hybrid in Charlotte, NC

Rate: $55-58/hr on w2

In this contingent resource assignment, candidate may:

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Financial Controls and contribute to large-scale planning related to Financial Controls deliverables

• Review and analyze moderately complex Financial Controls challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors

• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet

• Financial Controls deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements

• Collaborate with Client personnel in Financial Controls

• Additional Skills:

• Financial Controls: Covers jobs responsible for identifying, documenting, and implementing financial control and oversight matters.

• Individuals lead and/or execute testing and monitoring initiatives for assigned control areas.

• In this role, candidate will:

• Consult with the line of business and enterprise functions on financial reporting or information technology governance, and controls and oversight matters

• Identify compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

• Provide oversight for testing and monitoring involving moderate to complex subject matter or control areas

• Communicate and provide consultation regularly with stakeholders throughout the enterprise

• Implement, operate, and report results of certain elements of the company's policy, governance and oversight framework

• Support implementation of moderate to complex projects and initiatives

• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals

• Required Qualifications:

• 4 plus years of Finance, Accounting, Analytics, Reporting or Business and Technology Audit experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

• Strong communication skills

• Proficient in MS excel and work

• Excellent research skillset

• Intake notes:

• Our team preforms financial reviews.

• We issue written risk ratings with a detail overview of a breakdown of the statement and then get an overall picture with the suppliers.

• Client needs someone to step in and have a solid understanding of financial statements and reviews.

• This candidate will help with admin pieces for the analysts on the team as well.

• They will go in and look at services requests from the supplier community.

• Client needs someone that can go through and review the requests, looking at the documentation provided and doing a quick overview that makes sure it meets the minimum requirements.

• They will also provide guidance on what next steps are needed to the requesters.

• CPA would be nice but definitely not a must have

• Finance or accounting type background is what we are looking for

• Client work with a broad range of industries so specific industry experience is not required

Pay Range: $55-58/hr on W2.

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
