Financial Controller
Based in the Corporate Office NYC (Not remote)
Purpose
The Financial Controller's mission is to assist & support the Finance department with the business and commercial sales of all departments including building business plans that are cost effective.
Key Responsibilities
Control of retail activities including brick & mortar stores and online operations; measure, monitor, and anticipate the evolution of main business strategic drivers.
Promote and prepare optimization plans; preparation of reports, studies, analysis, and related information to support decision-making process.
Develop and present the Operational Budget and Forecasts with all departments of the Company.
Analyze the evolution of business key drivers and budget deviations.
Monthly reporting and analysis of all the activities (sales, productivity, P&L, investments).
Promote and collaborate with all the departments in the development and implementation of projects and optimization plans to improve country activities.
Ensure compliance with group policies and requirements.
Collaborate and work with the different Departments during the budget process.
Assisting with ad hoc Power point presentations.
Personal Profile
MBA, CPA, CMA or similar credentials
A minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in a similar financial position.
Apparel Fashion Retail, logistics and e-Commerce experience is highly desirable.
Managed an accounting department through monthly close and reporting cycles
Experience in management reporting with expert level in Excel (including Macros)
Advanced level of PowerBi
Process Improvement experience including system implementations
Fluent in English (Spanish will be a plus)
Aptitude for figures
Well organized and able to meet deadlines
Aptitude for working with computers (Excel & Power Point must)
Autonomy
Demonstrated ability to successfully lead milestone driven projects
Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Solid organizational and project management skills
Ability to work in a cutting-edge, casual environment where flexibility is essential
Must be comfortable with aggressive deadlines
Experience in a high volume and fast paced operation
Annual compensation range: $86,000 - $103,000
