Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing existing and prospective customers with information regarding financial products and services and utilizing specialized knowledge to find the appropriate products and services for each client. In addition, this position is responsible for providing advice and guidance to licensed Investment Associates and assisting Financial Advisors.

Essential Job Duties

Determines specific customer needs and ensures that appropriate market transactions are executed. Provides advice to clients on personal investment product purchases.

Maintains specified level of profitable sales which meet or exceed agreed upon goals.

Develops and maintains knowledge of the current investment product portfolio to ensure optimum marketing potential.

Participates in various business development efforts, including telemarketing solicitations and sales seminars with the goal of developing relationships and generating leads.

Keeps informed of industry product trends and issues to develop comprehensive understanding of industry.

Keeps informed and aligns business within PSI and regulatory requirements.

Adheres to compliance procedures and internal/operational risk controls in accordance with any and all applicable regulatory standards, requirements, and policies.

Job Requirements

College degree or equivalent experience required.

1-3 years relevant work experience.

Additional Job Requirements:

Certification/License: Series 6, 63, 7 and life insurance licenses required. Series 7, 65 and health insurance licenses required within time period specified by management.

Knowledge/Abilities/Technical Skills:

Ability to foster and cultivate relationships with prospective and existing customers.

Strong presentation skills to enhance the organization's image to prospective clients. Ability to communicate effectively and clearly to a broad range of existing and prospective customers.

Ability to acquire and maintain changing product information for all products supported, as well as maintaining a broad knowledge of the industry and the ability to keep informed of trends and developments.

Innovation and flexibility are essential to meet the demands of an ever-changing market.

Strong analytical skills are needed to recommend appropriate products and services to customers.

Ability to conduct business in a highly ethical manner which keeps in line with both PSI and regulatory requirements.

Medicare Provider Care Consultant Positions will be located in the state of Connecticut (multiple openings) Positions will be remote with some local travel The Medicare Provider Care Consultant is responsible for providing support to providers to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of provider practices for Stars and HEDIS. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: * Obtain and analyze quality metrics and reports for care opportunities, support practice implementation of Quality improvement opportunities, identify action plans for providers to implement to improve quality and the patient experience. * Actively participate in developing program recommendations and action plans (Internal). * Support the efforts of providers and practice teams on office based care delivery interventions resulting in care gap closures and improved health outcomes for patients. * Engage with network relations representatives to meet provider and practice service needs. * Provide education for practices to develop expertise with metrics and data review for quality improvement. * May participate in various community and multi-department committees to assure effective program implementation. * Track progress of program and prepare status reports to management or senior management and providers. * Maintain up to date knowledge on Patient Centered medical Home, Care Delivery System Redesign, Accountable Care Organizations, HEDIS, and STARS. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: * Requires a BA/BS; 3 years health care experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. * Ability to travel locally up to 75% of the time. Preferred Qualifications: * Physician environment experience in practice transformation/quality improvement, ambulatory care setting quality and efficiency metrics, and electronic health records. * Experience with STARS and HEDIS. * Experience working with providers and provider relations. * Must be comfortable presenting to large groups of professionals. * Proficiency in MS Office required, particularly MC Excel and MS PowerPoint. * Proficiency with Tableau.
