Job Summary

Check figures, postings, and documents for accuracy. Record, store, access, and/or analyze computerized financial information.

Control and secure cash and cash equivalents for property according to cash handling policy and procedures. Organize, secure, and maintain all files and records in accordance with document retention and confidentiality policies and procedures. Prepare, maintain, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.

Audit and reconcile all revenue postings.

Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; maintain awareness of undesirable persons on property premises. Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets; protect the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.

Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language; prepare and review written documents accurately and completely; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.

Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Job Description Position Summary: To provide analytical support to the Director of Financial Planning and Analysis and will be responsible for a range of duties including preparing and analyzing financial reports for budgeting and forecasting purposes for our portfolio of hotels. Performing financial modeling for contract negotiations and business opportunities along with providing regular financial and business analysis to management. Position Responsibilities * Prepare and analyze monthly financial performance reports and identify key trends that may impact future spending levels; prepare variance reports and presentations; build, improve, maintain financial and business metrics reports and scorecards. * Build and maintain financial models using Excel, Execuvue and large data sets to identify areas of financial risk and opportunity and to provide accurate and timely financial forecasts; drive standardization, simplification and automation of financial reporting and supporting processes. * Assist with crafting and maintaining monthly forecasts for hotel properties, including complex owner distribution calculations. * Provide guidance and support to the preparers of the property level budgets and forecasts. This includes interaction with the General Managers, Sr. Directors and Directors of Finance and Accounting for the properties and the revenue management team. * Working to help craft and develop additional executive reporting and dashboarding for both corporate and property level financial data and statistics. * Critical thinking and quantitative analytical skills, with the ability to utilize logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions. * Ability to exercise sound judgement and decision making skills to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions and to provide recommendations for optimal solutions. * Prepare pro-forma analysis working with the operations team on various business plan modifications. Position Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent additional experience. * Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language proficiently. * Three to five (3-5) years of Accounting, Finance Planning & Analysis and/or Finance experience. * CPA license or Masters in Business Administration advantageous.
