JOB SUMMARY

Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

The Director of FP&A provides oversight and analysis across various functions of the Finance department. The role partners with the VP of FP&A on strategic initiatives, corporate strategy, and general financial management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead in-depth financial, variance and trending analysis for key profitability drivers and metrics

  • Interpret results and articulate actionable recommendations to maximize profitability and ensure financial plans are achieved

  • Lead the financial planning/forecasting calendar and process on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, including:

  • Partnering with Accounting on monthly close process

  • Leading the preparation of monthly Business Reviews for the Board

  • Building the Annual Budget and Long Range Forecast

  • Provide analyses and insights on the results and forecasts

  • Create KPIs and implement dashboards and analyses to provide visibility to the status of KPIs

  • Provide visibility and thought leadership on how to maximize opportunities and mitigate risks

  • Provide financial leadership through budget management, including expense analytics and segment-level reporting

  • Build and maintain strong relationships and connections between FP&A and the various functions/functional leaders across the business

  • Manage and mentor FP&A analyst

  • Partner with VP of FP&A on strategic initiatives, corporate strategy, M&A and general financial management

METRICS

  • To meet or exceed expense ratios and EBITDA results

  • To meet deadlines and objectives as agreed and typically described in quarterly reviews or project planning / tracking

  • To handle ongoing projects and day-to-day demands that are not identified in formal monthly objectives in a timely and accurate manner

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for corporate management tasks in existence and that will come into existence that is generally the responsibility of all managers with direct reports. Examples include but are not limited to writing quarterly and yearly reviews, approving timesheets, approving expense reports, etc.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Minimum 8 years of financial experience

  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team as well as manage a team

  • Strong attention to detail, and highly organized

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Thrives in a high pressure environment and has the ability to work with tight deadlines

  • Perform assigned tasks accurately and on a timely basis

  • Ability to recommend process improvements in the department to enhance efficiency

  • Adheres to all applicable Policies and Procedures

  • Minimum BS (MBA preferred) in Business Management, Accounting or Financial Management.

  • Working knowledge of and experience with GAAP

  • Experience with international management and financial analysis, with a preference for international accounting experience, IFRS, international operations and multi currency reporting.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The position is in an office environment and entails:

  • Continuous sitting resulting from computer usage for extended periods

  • Occasional walking (including to other departments and buildings) reaching and lifting.

BONUS/COMMISSION PROGRAM

Eligible for yearly discretionary company bonus which will be tied, in part to company expense management goal attainment and company and business unit financial results

EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

  • Introductory
  • Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employee has sufficiently met and performed the job requirements, and will indicate whether employment will continue.
  • Quarterly Reviews
  • A quarterly written assessment will be issued which briefly describes the individual's performance in this position.
  • Annual Review
  • A more detailed review of the overall performance in this position, where the employee is rated and typically compensated in accordance with that rate.

WORK SCHEDULE

This is an exempt position, which requires a work schedule that will achieve the results and objectives identified by the company based on deadlines, workload and status of various projects, which typically result in hours beyond the standard hours of operations. Generally, the company operates and most of those who will interface with this position work the business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Dress attire is casual but professional in an office setting. All employees are required to wear "Radwear" (shirt with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Radwell ID Badge and Radwell Access Card must be worn at all times and Radwell Safety Policies must be adhered to at all times.
